Oh Baggage Handlers of the World!
So strong!
So agile!
So able to read airline codes on tags!
We salute you. We recognize that you are not lauded as you should be.
We renounce our ignorance of your profession.
We pledge to spread the word of your plight to the masses.
Your job must be extremely difficult, considering the number of times bags are lost. Right? Right? Or is it . . .
I've felt her pain. Oh, how I've felt her pain, so many times. Though never at the start of a two-week hosteling adventure in Costa Rica, like her.

I feel an overwhelming desire to make this neighbor of mine soup...
